A person in the BDSM subculture who engages in power exchange within a relationship. Dom/sub relationships can exclude sex. The Dom  takes control over the subsby telling them what to do or how to act. They have total control over the sub. Sometimes, subs may act up and disobey to be put in their place. In sexual relations, subs fully submit in the bedroom, allowing the Dom to have full control. Subs take pleasure from pleasing and being used by a Dom.
